AirIQ Named 8th Fastest Growing Technology Company

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Sept. 30, 2005) -

Deloitte Fast 50 Ranking Signifies Growth in Telematics

AirIQ Inc. (TSX:IQ), a leader in Global Wireless Security specializing in Telematics services, placed eighth (8th) in Deloitte's prestigious Canadian Technology Fast 50, the annual program that recognizes excellence, innovation and the fastest growing technology companies in Canada. The rankings are determined by percentage revenue growth over a five-year period.

AirIQ's increase in revenues was 3,011.29 percent from 2000 to 2004. This is the Company's third consecutive appearance in the Fast 50 rankings.

"It is an honour to once again be among companies that represent technology leadership, growth and innovation," explains Donald Simmonds, President and CEO of AirIQ. "Our ranking can be attributed to the growing adoption of wireless location-based services for people and machines, our continued investment in research and development, and the tenacious team that fosters our vision with their hard work and dedication."

"To rank on Deloitte's Technology Fast 50, companies must have phenomenal revenue growth over five years. AirIQ has proven to be one of the fast-growth success stories in Canada and we applaud their ability to make their vision reality," says Garry Foster, National Director, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Deloitte.

To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $75,000 CDN for 2000 and $5,000,000 CDN for 2004, be controlled and headquartered in Canada, be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenue and/or devote a significant proportion of revenues to research and development of technology.

Winners of the 15 regional Technology Fast 50 programs in the United States and Canada are automatically entered in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 program, which ranks North America's top 500 fastest growing technology companies. For more information on the Fast 50 or Fast 500 programs, visit or
