Airship Surveillance and WENR Corp. Issue Letter to Shareholders
Potential Contracts for Multiple Aircraft and Programs, Media Day Planned, Growth Anticipated
LOS ANGELES, CA and LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - May 1, 2008) - WENR Corp. (PINKSHEETS: WNRC), which has a Letter of Intent to acquire Airship Surveillance, a
Nevada-based high technology airship company, has announced that it has
issued a Letter to its Shareholders.
Last week we formally announced WENR's Letter of Intent to aquire Airship
Surveillance (AirSur). For the last 20 years, WENR has experienced some
exciting times but none as exciting as the ones we will experience in the
next few years due to this acquisition. We are completely confident that
by combining the strengths of both companies with the same goal as one
company, we will be moving exactly in the direction we need to take WENR
several steps ahead of where we are today. It gives me both great pride
and pleasure to announce to you where and how the company will move
First and foremost, AirSur is currently in discussions concerning six
potential sales opportunities. These contracts include several L15, L5 and
L2 airships which will have a value measured in the tens of millions of
dollars if all are exercised and completed. In addition to outright sales,
AirSur is also in discussions regarding the 'wet lease' of aircraft in
which it will operate its aircraft for clients.
AirSur is also working a number of very exiting programs and projects that
will give Airship Surveillance a very significant advantage in the unmanned
aircraft and surveillance markets. AirSur is keeping these programs
confidential at this time but will provide additional press releases as
contracts and working agreements are consummated. (Be sure to visit the web
site www.airshipsurveillance.com and sign up for the newsletter via the
link on the home page.)
Second, we are planning a "Media Day," in the Las Vegas area. AirSur has
commitments from local TV news stations that will be covering the event.
We fully expect coverage from national and international industry media.
This will give us great exposure with making AirSur's name and products
more visible to the general public. Other forms of media will also be
invited to attend this event. Shareholders are also welcome to attend.
Finally, the foreseen growth and sales of subsequent airships will require
AirSur to possibly seek an even larger facility and hire additional
full-time staff. WENR is also looking into adding additional members to
its Board of Directors to reflect the Company's new direction.
In closing, this exciting moment we are now in is not only a new chapter
for the Company, but a phenomenal opportunity that will take us into a new
future. We assure you that with this acquisition, we will continue to keep
the highest of standards and the soundest of financial principles you
expect and deserve in our daily business practices. As always, our door
will be open should any of you have any questions, comments, or ideas.
