Airspace Lounge™ to Redefine Airport Experience for Customers at Baltimore Washington International

Airspace's Airport Lounge Network Opens Doors in May 2011

LINTHICUM, MD--(Marketwire - March 15, 2011) -  Airspace Lounge, a new-generation airport lounge network open to all customers, today announced May 2011 as the month of the launch of its first facility located in Concourse D at the Baltimore Washington Thurgood Marshall International Airport (BWI).

Airspace Lounge is redefining the airport experience for its customers. For a price as low as $17.50 per day, any passenger flying on any airline will have the opportunity to enjoy Airspace Lounge's all-inclusive contemporary atmosphere and amenities, which include first-class facilities, an extensive complimentary food and beverage offering and access to business technology.

"Airspace Lounge will be a haven for the air traveler, starting at Baltimore Washington International, and expanding soon to other airports throughout the world," said Anthony Tangorra, chief executive officer of Airspace Lounge. "Just over 30 years ago, the airlines were democratized and luxuries became fewer and fewer as customers demanded low fares. After experiencing the loss of the little extras that once made air travel special, airport customers now long for personal space to work or relax near their gates. Airspace Lounge is offering this service to any airline passenger at a reasonable price."

Each day from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., Airspace Lounge customers will be offered complimentary food and beverages, including breakfast items in the morning, a hearty sandwich during the afternoon and evening, snacks, coffee, tea and soft drinks. In addition, travelers will enjoy complimentary wireless internet, power outlets at every seat, the use of MacBooks and Windows PCs, comfortable seating, workspace areas and in-lounge restrooms. A full-service bar is also available for an extra fee.

"Airspace Lounge is a welcome addition to the array of amenities and services offered at BWI," said Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley. "In addition to promising a unique, reasonably-priced option for travelers from our state and around the world, Airspace Lounge is creating jobs for Marylanders. We look forward to continuing to work with Airspace to help the company grow and thrive in our state."

Airspace's first BWI location will be on Concourse D, which currently serves AirTran, Cape Air, Continental, United and US Airways. Additional plans for service are being considered for approximately 75 other domestic and international airport terminals.

Anne Arundel County Executive John R. Leopold said, "The addition of Airspace Lounge to the fine roster of BWI Marshal Airport's amenities is great news for the 22 million passengers using this international airport each year. Anne Arundel County welcomes Airspace and looks forward to working with them as they grow."

Tangorra added, "We appreciate the support from the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED), Anne Arundel County Workforce Development Corporation and Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation in our decision to locate the Airspace Lounge headquarters and lounge facility at BWI."
