LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 3, 2005 -- AirTight Networks, the leading provider of Wi-Fi IPS (WIPS) Firewalls, has announced that it will be showcasing its innovative products in a variety of locations and venues at Interop® 2005. The tradeshow will be held from May 1-6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

The company will be demonstrating its innovative and unique SpectraGuard Enterprise 3.0 firewall technology at its booth (Interop #1005). SpectraGuard Enterprise is the industry's first Wi-Fi IPS Firewall to integrate automatic device classification and intrusion prevention, pinpoint location tracking and real-time RF mapping. With SpectraGuard Enterprise 3.0, AirTight Networks is delivering multiple industry firsts in wireless intrusion protection including simultaneous detection and prevention of not just one, but multiple threats from a single sensor, and comprehensive threat prevention including updates to counter the most serious attacks -- MAC spoofing APs, Evil Twin/honey pot APs and Denial of Service threats. Currently, this is the only solution that provides comprehensive auto-classification and prevention of all major classes of Wi-Fi vulnerabilities.

In addition, AirTight Networks will be hosting Ronnie Lott of the 49ers, a four-time Super Bowl Champion and football safety star at the company booth on May 3. Lott will be available to autograph pictures of himself for audiences viewing the theatre presentation at the booth. Throughout the show, AirTight will also sponsor a daily drawing for a football autographed by Lott.

AirTight executives will also be participating in a number of Interop panels on wireless technology. First, David King, Chairman and CEO of AirTight, will take part in a panel discussion titled "WiMAX: The Next Big Thing?" (Session ID #WC07) on Wednesday, May 4 from 2:00 to 3:15 p.m. WiMAX, which promises lower prices, extended interoperability and increased throughput and range, has created a buzz not seen since the early days of Wi-Fi. The panel will explore questions around the potential dangers of the hype and the most promising applications for the technology.

Pravin Bhagwat, CTO of AirTight Networks, will take part in a session titled "Wireless Security: Threats, Countermeasures and Strategies" (Session ID # WC02) on Tuesday, May 3 from 11:30 to 1:30 p.m. This discussion will examine the newest threats to wireless networks and the countermeasures to deal with them.

The company will also display its products and technology, and have executives available for conversation with press and analysts, at the ShowStoppers Reception. ShowStoppers is scheduled to take place at Mandalay Bay in the South Pacific Ballroom F on Tuesday, May 3 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Finally, AirTight has announced that its wireless security solution has been selected to protect and secure the InteropNet eNet, the event network that provides the infrastructure and services to all exhibitors, conferences and meeting rooms at Interop. The solution will lock down the authorized Interop wireless network, detect and prevent multiple threats simultaneously, prevent unauthorized activity (such as rogue APs and denial of service attacks) without impacting the authorized InteropNet eNet wireless network, and provide pinpoint location tracking of any device determined to be a threat.
