AirTouch HomeConneX X1500 for Home and Office Voice/Data Communications Is Verizon Wireless 3G Certified

Consumers Can Go Totally Wireless

NEWPORT BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 15, 2011) - AirTouch Communications (OTCBB: ATCH) (, which designs and markets wireless telecommunication devices, today announced that its HomeConneX X1500 wireless phone is Verizon Wireless 3G Certified.

The product allows consumers and small businesses the option of "cutting the cord" to their landline service providers for both voice and data, while retaining the qualities of landline service such as excellent phone sound quality and full data services. In addition, to the functions of a landline phone, the X1500, with up to six cordless handsets, can receive text messages, voice mail alerts, and connect wirelessly to the internet. The HomeConneX X1500 includes a small, wireless portable base station and a cordless handset.

"This product eliminates hurdles that may stand in the way of people going completely wireless in their homes," commented Hideyuki Kanakubo, Founder and CEO of AirTouch.

"The X1500 combines the convenience of a user friendly standard cordless phone with all of the features of a cellular phone," said Kanakubo. "This makes it possible to drop often-expensive wired phone services in the home or small office and replace them with the identical number that can be added on to a cellular plan. In addition, the LAN port on the X1500 can connect to an Ethernet cable for a direct connection to a laptop for surfing the web, or the user can plug in an AirTouch-supplied, small WiFi router into the LAN port to distribute the data wirelessly to several PCs or laptops within that WiFi hot spot."

The cordless telephone module and the wireless module inside the base station communicate with each other in a proprietary manner so that all the benefits of a regular cordless telephone are preserved, especially the audio quality. This one-of-a-kind integration method is protected by the AirTouch patent portfolio.

The AirTouch cellular phone and data unit is up to 10 times more powerful than a handheld mobile phone, yet the AirTouch-approved wireless signal integration patents allow for a safe signal amplification from the base unit emitting less power from the handset than a mobile phone. The result is a wireless connection that is both strong and safe, with excellent sound quality.

"If wireless data and voice service is used mostly in the home and office, why not use a dedicated home and office unit, with ample signal strength, instead of a mobile phone? We believe this product will significantly change how people use phones and data services in their homes, small offices and retail stores," said Kanakubo.

The X1500 feeds a wireless signal throughout the home, provides data capabilities and can interface with home security systems. In addition, the X1500 has Subscriber Line Interface Circuitry (SLIC) that provides an interface with analog fax capability if the carrier supports fax transmission over its wireless network.

The X1500 provides those who give up their landlines every day a better option than poor signal quality and call dropping on mobile phones and broadband solutions requiring a high-speed Internet connection and cumbersome installations.
