Eliminating the app component that most location-based marketing tactics rely on, Aislelabs Pass enables retailers to target any customer. Pass works by utilizing the native mobile wallets on smartphones, such as iPhone Passbook and Google Wallet, to connect with customers. For example, a customer downloads a "pass" shared via email or social services such as Twitter. The pass is seamlessly installed on the phone's mobile wallet. When that customer walks into a store, the pass recognizes beacons and location and becomes active.
