AIX Group, Inc. Names Bob Hartje Vice President of Underwriting for Nova Casualty Company

WINDSOR, CT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 13, 2007 -- AIX Group, Inc. ("AIX Group"), a specialty insurance holding company, today announced the hiring of Bob Hartje as Vice President of Underwriting for Nova Casualty Company. Bob will be responsible for the underwriting oversight and management of the core book of accounts that AIX Group inherited when they purchased Nova in 2005.

For the past 2 years, Bob was the lead casualty program underwriter for Quanta Holdings US. In this role, Bob was responsible for reinsurance procurement, underwriting and overall management of many of Quanta's largest programs.

Previously, Mr. Hartje had various underwriting roles with Hartford Insurance Group, Employers Reinsurance, and National Reinsurance. Bob started his insurance career with Aetna Casualty and Surety Company in 1985.

He is a graduate of Keene State University, with a Bachelors of Science in Management. He also holds the ARe designation and is working towards the completion of his CPCU.
