AIX Group, Inc. Names Ed Klotz Vice President of Program Business Development

WINDSOR, CT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 1, 2007 -- AIX Group, Inc. ("AIX Group"), a specialty insurance holding company, today announced the hiring of Ed Klotz as a Vice President of Program Business Development. Ed will be responsible for the delivery of services to our partners, including the coordination of program management, underwriting, claims administration, reinsurance placement and policy rating/issuance.

For the past 8 years, Ed has been heavily involved in the underwriting of alternative risk and program transactions, having developed and managed various captives and self insurance groups for Alea Group/AmTrust Underwriters.

Previously, Mr. Klotz worked for Discover Re, where he was responsible for marketing and underwriting alternative risk programs. Mr. Klotz began his insurance career with the Travelers Insurance Company, where he was a casualty underwriter specializing in national account business.

He is a graduate of Seton Hall University, with a Bachelors of Administration in Communications. He also holds the CPCU designation.
