Akis Neocleous, Luxury Resort Expert, Joins The Vines Resort & Spa as General Manager

MENDOZA, ARGENTINA--(Marketwire - Dec 20, 2012) -  The Vines of Mendoza announces that Akis Neocleous has joined The Vines Resort & Spa as General Manager. Akis will oversee all the operations of The Vines Resort & Spa, opening in late 2013.

Akis has more than 20 years of luxury resort leadership experience at Mexico's top luxury properties, including Las Ventanas al Paraiso, a Rosewood Resort. Las Ventanas has been recognized among the world's most acclaimed resorts, in large part for the guest experience and for pioneering the luxury industry in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Prior to Las Ventanas, Akis was General Manager of Mision La Serena Resort in Los Cabos and General Manager of El Careyes Beach Resort in Careyes, Mexico. Previously, he was Hotel Director of the Hotel Gran Bahia Principe Tulum, and Resident Manager of the Grand Bay Hotel in Isla de Navidad.

"Akis has established, opened and managed some of the most luxurious and prestigious resorts in Los Cabos, and throughout the world," stated Michael Evans, Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of The Vines of Mendoza. "He is a rock star, and we are thrilled to add him to our team. His commitment to superior service, passion for creating perfection in luxury properties, and love for Argentina make us confident that he will run the resort seamlessly."

Akis states, "When I visited The Vines Resort & Spa I fell in love with this special project. What makes The Vines Resort & Spa unique is the combination of this superior team dedicated to great service, the unbelievable view of the Andes and vineyard experience, as well as the variety of activities one can find throughout the resort, and in the greater Mendoza area."

This luxury boutique resort offers a full service, sophisticated atmosphere for those with both refined and rugged tastes -- a wine and cocktail bar, gym and spa with vinotherapy treatments, a 100+ square meter pool, and a variety of outdoor activities from winemaking to yoga to horseback riding through the vineyards. One and two bedroom luxury vacation residences are available for purchase with prices ranging from $350,000 to $900,000 USD. Custom purchase options are available including packages with one acre of vineyards, plus custom winemaking in our on-site winery.

For those looking to the Villas at The Vines Resort & Spa as a home away from home, the vacation residence will be equipped with luxurious furnishings and a sophisticated finish. With stunning views from each residence, many may choose to enjoy their Malbec on their own private deck. Guest services will be available 24/7.
