Akorri to Address Key Requirements for Private Cloud Management at Fall Interop 2010

Akorri CTO Rich Corley to Participate on Virtualization Management Panel

LITTLETON, MA--(Marketwire - October 13, 2010) -  Akorri, Inc., the leader in virtualization and storage management for the dynamic data center, today announced that its Founder and CTO, Rich Corley, will lend his expertise to a virtualization management panel at Fall Interop 2010. The panel: "Virtualization Management - From Server Consolidation to Private Cloud," will take place on Thursday, October 21 at 11:30 a.m.

With the increasing complexity of today's virtual and physical data center server and storage infrastructures, cross-domain virtualization management is the key to successfully moving beyond basic server consolidation to an agile virtual infrastructure and then ultimately to a private cloud deployment. A well managed virtual environment must include a cross-domain solution which delivers application workload to storage performance and capacity management, "GPS-like" visibility into the interdependencies between the infrastructure elements, the ability to predict problems before they impact a business, and simplified troubleshooting and root cause of infrastructure related problems.

Rich Corley will join moderator, Barb Goldworm, President and Chief Analyst of FOCUS and fellow panelists: Shay Mowlem, Director of Virtualization Strategy, HP Software and Solutions for Hewlett-Packard, Richard Whitehead, Director of Product Management for EMC Ionix and Steven Mandras, Director, Product Management, Virtualization and Workload Management for Novell to teach attendees how to layer the right management capabilities onto their virtual environment and improve their IT operations to build the foundation for a private cloud.
