Alexis Completes $17.5 Million Bought Deal Financing

ALEXIS MINERALS CORPORATION (TSX:AMC)(OTCQX:AXSMF) ("Alexis" or the "Company") announced today that it has closed its previously announced bought deal offering (the "Offering") of 175,000,000 common shares of the Company (the "Shares") at a price of $0.10 per Share, for aggregate gross proceeds of $17.5 million. The shares were sold pursuant to an underwriting agreement with Cormark Securities Inc. and National Bank Financial Inc., as lead underwriters, and including TD Securities Inc., Desjardins Securities Inc., Raymond James Ltd., GMP Securities L.P. and Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Limited (the "Underwriters").

The Company has granted to the Underwriters an over-allotment option to purchase up to an additional 26,250,000 Common Shares, exercisable for a period of 30 days from the date hereof, for additional gross proceeds of up to $2,625,000.
