BALTIMORE, MD--(Marketwired - Aug 28, 2014) - Target Logistics and Williams Scotsman, both key elements of Algeco Scotsman's group of companies, which are leading global providers of remote accommodations, modular space and storage solutions, respectively, today announced that Rick Bennett joined the company as Vice President and General Manager of its Remote Accommodations Division for Canada and Alaska.

Based in the Williams Scotsman Calgary office, Mr. Bennett is responsible for all strategic and operational aspects of the remote accommodations business in Canada. He will work to build upon Williams Scotsman's 15-year history in Canada and its established track record delivering modular space solutions to the premier operators in the energy, natural resources and construction sectors, with a particular emphasis on providing housing solutions for workers operating in remote areas.
Prior to joining Algeco Scotsman, Mr. Bennett served two years as Senior Vice President of Operations and Sales for Aramark Remote Workplace Services, a North American hospitality and catering provider, and spent 12 years in Canada and Australia with Compass Group PLC a global leader in hospitality and support services.
Mr. Bennett brings an extensive business development background through his experiences in both the North American and Australian remote accommodations markets. Working with Algeco Scotsman colleagues from Target Logistics in the United States and Ausco in Australia, he will work to expand Algeco Scotsman's global remote accommodations capabilities. Both Target Logistics and Ausco are Algeco Scotsman companies and leading providers of remote accommodations and other modular space and storage solutions in their respective markets.
