Align Technology Announces Shareholder Class Action Lawsuit Dismissed With Prejudice


SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 25, 2014) - Align Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALGN) today announced that on August 22, 2014, the United States District Court for the Northern District of California dismissed with prejudice the shareholder class action lawsuit filed in November 2012 by lead Plaintiff City of Dearborn Heights Police & Fire Retirement System against the Company, President and CEO Thomas M. Prescott, and previous CFO Kenneth B. Arola. The dismissal with prejudice follows the District Court's previous dismissal of Plaintiff's first amended complaint for failure to state a claim on December 9, 2013. Plaintiff has thirty (30) days to appeal the District Court's ruling.
