Alkame Water Begins Five State Distribution Deal With URM

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Mar 4, 2014) - Alkame Holdings, Inc. (OTCBB: ALKM) (OTCQB: ALKM), a health and technology holding company with a focus on patentable, innovative, and eco-friendly consumer products, is pleased to announce that the Company has entered into a wholesale product distribution relationship with URM Stores, Inc. ("URM"), a Washington State based retailer-owned grocery cooperative business.

The Company expects that URM (www.urmfoodservice.com) will soon be delivering Alkame Water in 24/ half liter and 12/ one liter bottle formats within their five state area, which includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming. URM currently distributes a wide variety of grocery products to retail, convenience store, and food service locations within these five states.

Founded in 1921, URM Stores, Inc. (formerly United Retail Merchants), began when five retailers banded together to form the "cooperative" under the laws of the State of Washington. Over the years, sales volume has grown to approximately $775 million, employment to over 2,700 employees at URM and its subsidiaries, and assets to over $100 million. URM is consistently ranked amongst the top 10 private employers in Washington State.
