All Discovery Cruising Celebrates Successful Fiscal 4th Quarter

North American Office Strengthens Its Market Position as Niche Cruising Leader

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(Marketwire - March 7, 2011) - All Discovery Cruising North America celebrated its most profitable fiscal fourth quarter in the company's history (based on worldwide sales excluding Antarctica/South Pacific sailings).

Celebrations were held in All Discovery's Ft. Lauderdale office joined by UK-based senior executives Rob Bryant, CEO, and Geoff Lawrence, Sales and Marketing Director for All Leisure Group PLC, parent company of All Discovery Cruising. "We are delighted that our North America office made such positive strides with the introduction of new sales and marketing strategies that are proving to be a success," states Rob Bryant.

"The change in strategy was quite simple," adds Steve Novello, President of All Discovery Cruising, North America. "We focused our core efforts on cultivating relationships with our loyal past guests and our dedicated travel partners who have supported us over the years, while developing new partnerships with agencies who precisely target our demographic and who are eager to sell a unique and exciting cruise portfolio. Depending on the brand, our fares include air, hotel, or shore excursions so travel agents also have the potential of earning larger commissions with our one stop shopping solution," states Novello.

During the festivities All Discovery Cruising honored Brian McLaughlin, owner of Northport, New York agency TravLtips, as its 2010 Agency Partner of the Year. "We've worked closely with TravLtips since the company's inception. It's always a pleasure to work with an agency whose owners and teams have such an excellent understanding of their client's needs and who recognize the overall value and one-of-a-kind experience that our products deliver," adds Novello.

In addition to stellar North American sales, All Discovery Cruising's small ship brands received notable industry accolades in 2010.

Voyages of Discovery received "Best Niche Cruise Line" award at The British Travel Awards; Cruise Critic UK Editors' Picks award for "Best for Lectures at Sea"; and "Best Cruise Value" award in the Specialty Cruises category by The World Ocean & Cruise Liner Society for the fifth consecutive year. After winning the Condé Nast Traveller UK "Favourite Cruise Line - Small Ship" award in 2009, Swan Hellenic received the runner's up Silver award in 2010 just .7% behind the overall winner while receiving top scores for its itineraries and destination variety as well as environmental friendliness. Swan Hellenic River Cruises received the Silver "Best River Cruise Line" award at The British Travel Awards, and in 2010 Hebridean Island Cruises' Hebridean Princess was especially pleased to welcome back Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and members of her family when the ship was privately chartered.

Each brand within All Discovery's small ship cruising portfolio is unique with its own distinctive characteristics and British country elegance style. Together they share a combined focus on delivering superior enrichment cruises to the world's most beautiful destinations, including visits to "hidden gems" often missed by larger ships. Distinguished guest speakers, unparalleled worldwide itineraries, and meticulously planned shore excursion programs are signature elements of every cruise.
