The Vancouver Taxi Association is excited to announce the launch of eCab in Vancouver, and extends an open invitation to the launch event from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at Science World on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

What is eCab?

eCab is an international smartphone app that connects customers to the best taxi services available in their city. It will improve services in Vancouver by connecting every downtown cab to create an innovative and unified taxi network.

The Vancouver Taxi Association joined eCab to provide the best customer experience in Vancouver through the latest technologies and decades of experience in passenger transportation.

eCab is focused on the customer, to make it easier, faster and more reliable to grab a cab in the city: You can still pay your fare directly to your driver but also with your card in-app and get a receipt at the end of your trip. It is also very easy to book a cab for someone else or pre-book taxis, or request van or wheelchair accessible taxis. And no need to wait for your ride by the road since you can follow your taxi and get an alert once it reaches your pick-up address: No more waiting in the rain and waving!
