All Quiet on the Twitter Front in Order to Keep Children Alive

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Feb. 18, 2011) - At Midlands Consulting Centre we specialise in face to face promotions on behalf of many non profit organisations and believe that succeeding in business is not just down to individuals, but also improving the lives of the people within and around our local communities. We feel that being the voice of our clients allows us to find out what the people want instead of what we think they might need.

Midlands Consulting Centre has joined the campaign for national aids day, where celebrities have agreed to stop Tweeting until $1 Million (£640,000) is raised for Charity. The idea initiated by R&B Queen Alicia Keys was called The Digital Life Sacrifice initiative, in support of the Keep Children Alive Charity.

The charity raises money for families in Africa and India affected by HIV and Aids; Midlands Consulting Centre is always in continual support for non profit organisations that will help the future of our children.

Alicia Keys who is the co-founder recently became a mother, and is encouraging other famous faces and non-celebs to get involved.

"It doesn't have to be just because you're a celebrity or something like that. It can be anybody."

With celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, Kim Kardashian who have Twitter and Facebook followings of over 30 million, fans expect the money to be raised very quickly to get the celebs back online.

Midlands Consulting Centre also looks into the impact of this campaign in highlighting the need for people to stay in touch with their idols; in a time where children are dying every day of the deadly disease the idea of not Tweeting is more deadly. Here's hoping one day the children of the world voices are really heard.
