Allegiant and Make-A-Wish® Send Kids on Life-Changing Wish Experiences This Holiday Season

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - December 23, 2014) - Allegiant (NASDAQ: ALGT) is helping Make-A-Wish® grant wishes by providing travel for 33 wish kids this holiday season -- kids like 5-year old Jaylen, who was diagnosed with leukemia and wished to go to the Florida theme parks. The travel company, which provides air travel and send-off celebrations for Make-A-Wish kids, has flown over 150 wish kids like Jaylen to their wish destinations in 2014 alone. To expand its efforts to help grant wishes, the company will also be matching dollar for dollar employee donations, up to $5,000, from now until Jan. 31, 2015.

Jaylen's Make-A-Wish experience with Allegiant began with a warm welcome at the airport. Jaylen and his family were greeted by Allegiant employees at the Central Illinois Regional Airport in Bloomington, Ill. and treated to a special send-off celebration. Jaylen's wish experience can be viewed here http://gofly.us/G8NzO.

"Allegiant is proud to be a part of each community we serve, and working with Make-A-Wish has allowed us to have a positive impact on wish families around the country," said Brian Davis, Allegiant Travel Company's vice president of business development. "Allegiant team members are passionate about our relationship with Make-A-Wish and making wish flights a special experience for the families."

Over 70 percent of wishes require air travel. Since 2012, Allegiant has donated travel to over 250 wish kids and their families and over $250,000 in cash sponsorships.

"Allegiant is a terrific sponsor that plays an important role in getting wish kids to destinations for life-changing wish experiences," said Kathy Forshey, vice president, corporate alliance of Make-A-Wish America. "The Allegiant team members welcome each one of our wish kids and their families while traveling on their wish."
