Allegient, LLC Named One of the "Best Places to Work in Indiana" Again

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwire - Feb 28, 2012) - Indianapolis-based IT consulting firm, Allegient, LLC, has recently been named to the Indiana Chamber of Commerce's 2012 list of the best places to work in the state, for a second time. A total of 70 companies have been designated a 2012 "Best Places to Work in Indiana" for creating a productive environment in which employees feel valued, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce recently announced. This is the seventh year for the Best Places to Work in Indiana program, which is presented by Comcast Business Class. Actual rankings for the companies will be unveiled at a May 3 awards dinner at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis.

"Allegient is a growing organization, consisting of over 150 talented employees who strive to help companies with their business needs through the use of technology. We have been able to attract high-level consultants who bring new ideas and who thrive in a collaborative environment," remarked Allegient HR Manager Margaret Mitchell. "Allegient provides training, executive support and top-notch facilities that employees really appreciate. Additionally, things like company events, lunch and learns and community involvement help our consultants feel connected to our company."

The top companies are determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. Winners were selected from two categories: small to medium-sized companies of between 15 and 249 U.S. employees, and large-sized companies consisting of 250 or more employees -- with Allegient being recognized in the small to medium-sized category.

"We are excited to have been selected for this year's 'Best Places to Work in Indiana,'" commented Allegient President and CEO Gregg Gallant. "I believe our employees recognized Allegient's dedication to enriching our benefits plan, supplying consistent communication, supporting training and development, defining career paths, and rewarding hard work."

The Best Companies Group, which handled the selection process, oversees similar programs in 21 other states. "Best Places to Work in Indiana not only recognizes our state's outstanding employers, but also sets a high standard for other Hoosier companies by encouraging them to realize the importance of evaluating their own workplace," remarked Indiana Chamber President Kevin Brinegar. "It is clear that a positive work environment makes employees more engaged in their job and in their company, which is a win for the entire business community."

In addition to the May 3 awards dinner, Allegient will be recognized via a special section in the Indiana Chamber's bimonthly BizVoice® magazine and through Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick -- both of which reach state-wide audiences.

In addition to Comcast Business Class, Best Places to Work in Indiana is sponsored by: Ice Miller LLP; Brinks Hofer Gilson & Lione; Horseshoe Casino Hammond; Mussett, Nicholas + Associates, Inc.; FedEx; Jackson Lewis LLP; Matrix Integration, LLC; Purdue University; and Smithville Communications, Inc. Additional sponsorships are still available.
