Alliance Memory Forms Strategic Alliance With China EC Net

SAN CARLOS, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 13, 2012) - Alliance Memory today announced a distribution agreement with China EC Net, a strategic partner of Avnet and a powerful e-commerce online semiconductor platform in China. Under the agreement, China EC Net will offer Alliance Memory's entire lineup of SRAMs and DRAMs throughout Greater China.

Alliance Memory manufactures a complete line of SRAMs, including 3.3 V and 5 V fast asynchronous SRAMs with speeds from 10 ns to 20 ns, low-power devices with densities from 64 Kb to 32 Mb, and 2.5 V and 3.3 V ZBT/sync pipelined burst (SPB)/sync burst (SB) products. In addition, the company has recently introduced synchronous DRAMs (SDR) with densities of 64 Mb, 128 Mb, and 256 Mb and with commercial, industrial, and automotive temperature ranges. China EC Net will distribute these products from its website, http://www.eccn.com/.

"Partnering with China EC Net is a key move in expanding the presence of our legacy memory products in Greater China," said Dan Gilbert, vice president of sales for Alliance Memory. "In addition to having branches in the region's major cities, the company's 'Power Grid' online community for electronic engineers has more than 630,000 members and receives more than 30 million hits per month. This is tremendous exposure for our solutions, and it will translate into increased sales throughout Greater China."

"By offering reliable, drop-in, pin-for-pin compatible legacy parts, Alliance Memory's SRAMs and DRAMs lower costs by eliminating the need for expensive redesigns," said Jack Xu of China EC Net. "We are excited to add these products to our lineup and provide our customers with immediate access to their cost-saving benefits."
