ALLIANCEPHARMA Announces Appointment of New Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Bruno Dumais

THETFORD MINES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Sept. 9, 2015) - AlliancePharma Inc. (TSX VENTURE:APA) ("AlliancePharma" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that Mr. Bruno Dumais, C.P.A., has been appointed Chief Financial Officer of the Company.

Mr. Dumais is a Chartered Professional Accountant since 1989 and holds both a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Rimouski and an International MBA from the University of Ottawa. He has held senior level positions in companies crossing a variety of sectors, such as Gestion Exponent, Nortel Networks and Premier Tech. Until recently, he was Vice President, Finance, for BroadSign International Inc., a Montreal-based provider of digital signage solutions. Since 2006, Mr. Dumais has held and holds various executive positions in publicly traded companies. He possesses over 20 years of experience in financial, forecast and strategic planning, and is responsible for overseeing the Company's overall financial activities.

Following this appointment, Mr. Marc Lemieux becomes President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and Ms. Isabelle Bégin becomes Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer.
