Allied Electronics Recognized as 2011 Top Workplace

FORT WORTH, TX--(Marketwire - Nov 16, 2011) - Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), was recognized by The Dallas Morning News as a National Standard Top Workplace in its annual Top 100 Places to Work survey for the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, metropolitan area. The independent survey was conducted by Workplace Dynamics and included employee evaluations from 215 area companies.

Forty-five Dallas-area companies, including Allied Electronics, were recognized as top workplaces based on superior employee survey scores. While these companies did not make the Top 100 list, they achieved WorkplaceDynamics' national standard when compared with more than 4,000 organizations across the country.
