AlliedBarton Security Services Invited to Attend the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Bosslift in Fort Hood, TX

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2012) - AlliedBarton Security Services' recruiter Angela Wenger has been invited to participate on an ESGR Bosslift on February 28 - March 1 in Fort Hood, TX. Fort Hood's military base is where the 1st Battalion 211th Aviation Utah National Guard is training for their upcoming deployment to Afghanistan. Wenger received the nomination to attend this training from an AlliedBarton military employee who is part of the group prepping to deploy overseas. AlliedBarton, www.alliedbarton.com/militaryfriendly, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, is committed to hiring our nation's military personnel as they transition into civilian careers.

The KC-135 Air-to-Air Refueling Tanker Bosslift will fly Wenger to Fort Hood and allow her and other employers to visit military training sites. Bosslifts provide employers and civic leaders an opportunity to observe firsthand the technical training, leadership development and team building skills that a guard member receives while on active duty as part of the Armed Forces.

"The ESGR has been a great partner and resource for AlliedBarton when it comes to recruiting veterans and answering military related questions," said Wenger. "They are an inspirational advocate for soldiers and employers and I am honored to have been nominated to participate in this once in a lifetime experience. I have been recruiting since 2003 and have always believed that having a job for soldiers is very important. I am grateful to work for AlliedBarton who has so many military recruiting resources and fosters a military friendly environment."

The security services industry is an ideal field for transitioning veterans and reservists, and their spouses, and AlliedBarton is honored to employ those who have dedicated themselves to protecting our freedom.

Wenger, a resident of Syracuse, UT, has worked for AlliedBarton since 2010. In her free time, she volunteers with Canines with a Cause, www.canineswithacause.com, a non-profit organization that brings together shelter dogs and returning veterans. Wenger has nine years of recruiting experience and says that some of her top passions in life are helping veterans and dogs.
