AlliedBarton Security Services' Ron Rabena Receives 2015 Community Hero Award From Heroes Among Us


CONSHOHOCKEN, PA--(Marketwired - Nov 13, 2015) - AlliedBarton Security Services, the industry's premier provider of highly trained security personnel, is proud to announce that Ron Rabena, Division President, received the Community Hero Award at the Third Annual "Heroes Among Us" event benefitting the Fraternal Order of Police Survivor's Fund on November 5, 2015, at the Union League of Philadelphia. The event is a tribute to the brave men and women of the Philadelphia Police Department who risk their lives every day while serving the city of Philadelphia. The Survivor's Fund was established to remember the sacrifice of each officer and recognize the sacrifice made by the surviving families.

Rabena is being recognized for his significant contributions to the community and his extensive involvement with the Police Athletic League of Philadelphia. The Fraternal Order of Police Survivor's Fund is a non-profit organization in Philadelphia run by FOP Lodge #5. Money raised by the organization provides financial assistance and support to the families of Philadelphia police officers who have been injured or killed in the line of duty. Since 1828, more than 300 Philadelphia Police Officers have given their lives while protecting ours.

Heroes Among Us, established in 2013, pays tribute to the brave men and women of the Philadelphia police department who have given their lives while serving the city.
