With growing concerns over security, travel and budgets, IT professionals and software vendors alike are looking to online technologies to provide high quality and information and interactivity. Recent events have caused many to cancel their plans to travel to other events, but the demand for conference participation still remains. ALM Expo 2005 will provide a unique environment in which attendees may participate in both live and on-demand conference sessions from anywhere in the world. An equally unique and highly interactive exhibit hall allows attendees to review product information, watch demonstrations or chat live with sponsoring vendors without having to wander the aisles of a vast conference hall.

Unlike traditional, in-person events, ALM Expo attendees will not have to rush from session to session or make a choice between interesting presentations and exhibits. After the two-day live event, all conference materials including: complete recordings of every session, presentation materials, and the exhibit hall, will remain online for at least 6 months. New and returning visitors may review or replay sessions at their leisure 24 hours a day. Also unlike most in-person events, ALM Expo is completely free to attend.

A keynote presentation will be delivered by Liz Barnett, VP of Forrester Research. Companies participating as co-sponsors in this inaugural conference include: Gold Sponsors, CollabNet, Computer Associates, Telelogic and VA Software, and Silver Sponsors, AccuRev, BuildForge, Codefast, Electric Cloud and MKS.
