Alorica Hosts Community Service Event to Support US Soldiers Stationed Abroad

Gathers 250 Employees for Operation Impact to Build Thousands of Care Packages for US Troops

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwired - Aug 10, 2015) - Alorica, a worldwide leading provider of customer management outsourcing solutions, today announced a community service event, "Operation Impact," as part of its Leadership Conference. The event, scheduled for August 10-13 in Las Vegas, NV will bring together 250 members of Alorica's leadership team (director level and above) to assemble care packages containing much-needed items for US soldiers stationed abroad.

As part of Operation Impact, Alorica will split employees into teams of 20-30 people. Each team will create a total of 50 care packages within three hours. The packages will contain supplies including granola bars, coffee and toothbrushes, and will need to be assembled in a specific way so that each item will fit into the provided boxes.

"The average deployment for an American serving in the armed forces can exceed 18 months, and one of the greatest gifts that any soldier can receive is the gift of love in the form of support and appreciation," said Andy Lee, chairman and CEO at Alorica. "Operation Impact is an interactive and rewarding event that provides hope and support to our troops by way of thank you letters, greatly-needed supplies and everyday comforts. The packaging and assembly portion of the event will be followed by a meet-and-greet session where Alorica employees will get the chance to speak with local troops who have served in the Middle East. These individuals will provide first-hand accounts of their experience and the impact that receiving a care package had on them.

Alorica aims to support military and service-disabled veterans and their spouses through its AloriCares employment initiative. This diversity initiative was created to support American lives by connecting business opportunity and military talent in local communities.
