Alouettes / Three Additions to the Offence: Revere,
Brown and Volk Are Invited to Training Camp

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 9, 2005) - Montreal Alouettes'
General Manager Jim Popp announced the signings of three new offensive
players who have subsequently been invited to the team's training camp.

Quarterback J.R. Revere (6', 193 lbs) was a dominant pivot during his
time at Georgia Southern. He had his best seasons in 2000 and 2001, as
he threw 17 touchdown passes and scored 25 more on the ground. In 2000,
he finished third in the NCAA with 153 carries for 802 yards and 14
touchdowns. Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Revere left the football world
after the 2001 season to join the Independent League Chillicothe Paints,
a top farm club for Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies. He is 27.

Receiver Maurice Brown (6'2", 216 lbs) had a tryout with the NFL New
Orleans Saints last season. The 24-year-old had a great career at the
University of Iowa, with his best season coming in 2002 as he caught 48
passes for gains of 966 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Offensive tackle Dave Volk (6'5", 300 lbs) signed with the Chicago Bears
in 2002, before moving on to the Dallas Cowboys. He started 10 games in
2004 with the NFL Europe Amsterdam Admirals, being named to the
All-NFL-Europe team. He is 25.
