Alphinat Renews a Contract With the Government of France That Allows the SGMAP, an Agency Responsible for State Modernisation, to Continue Developing E-Government Services

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 15, 2014) - Alphinat (TSX VENTURE:NPA) is pleased to announce that France's SGMAP organisation, the leading agency of the government of France for State Modernisation, will continue to leverage SmartGuide and SmartGuide PaaS Edition to deliver citizen-centric e-government services. The contract has been renewed for three years with an option for a fourth year. This new contract puts Alphinat in a direct relationship with the SGMAP and allows the client to acquire additional software licenses, annual maintenance and associated professionals services.

About the SGMAP

The SGMAP is the agency of the government of France that is responsible for State Modernisation. The SGMAP organisation was set up in response to the new roadmap for government modernisation. It was designed in such a manner as to serve three ambitious objectives: contributing to maintaining the French social model, restoring public finances and making the economy competitive.

The SGMAP brings together all the departments responsible for the modernisation policy, which were previously dispersed, and introduces a new consistency to government modernisation efforts.

• the Interministerial Directorate for Government Modernisation, formerly the Directorate General for State Modernisation (DIMAP);
• the Interministerial Directorate for Information and Communications Systems (DISIC);
