Alstom Repowering Coal-Fired Unit at Heilbronn Power Plant in Germany, an Industrial Info News Alert

CORDOBA, ARGENTINA--(Marketwire - June 20, 2008) - EnBW Kraftwerke AG, a subsidiary of EnBW AG (FSE:EBK) (Karlsrube, Germany), is expanding its capacity by repowering a large coal-fired unit, Unit 7, at the Heilbronn Power Plant. The work, which was awarded to Alstom (PAR:ALO) (Paris), is scheduled to be completed by the last quarter of 2009. The project will improve the efficiency of Unit 7's boiler efficiency and reduce its carbon dioxide emissions.
