Altair Nanotechnologies to Hold Analyst Day at PJM Interconnection

RENO, NV--(Marketwire - September 10, 2009) - Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTI), a leading provider of energy storage systems for clean, efficient power and energy management, today announced it will hold an Analyst Day on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the PJM Interconnection in Norristown, PA. Presentations by representatives from Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (Altairnano), PJM Interconnection, and Customized Energy Solutions, including remarks by Altairnano's President and CEO Dr. Terry Copeland, will provide an overview of grid stability challenges and utility scale storage solutions.

Included in the day will be a tour of the Altairnano developed AES energy storage trailer that is connected to the electric utility grid at the PJM Interconnection and a virtual tour of the PJM control center.
