Alternative Technology Partners Appoints Randy Russell as Executive Vice President of Sales; Company Expands With New Office in Austin, Texas

ALISO VIEJO, CA--(Marketwire - February 3, 2011) - Alternative Technology Partners, a fast-growing ERP and CRM solutions provider, today announced that industry veteran Randy Russell has joined the company as executive vice president of sales and will lead efforts to grow its customer base. To support Alternative's growth plans and to better service companies in the Southwest region, the company also has added a new office in Austin, Texas.

Randy Russell has more than 20 years of channel partnership experience in the sales and implementation of enterprise software applications. Most recently, Russell served as senior vice president of professional services at ePartners, an Austin Ventures portfolio company and the then largest Microsoft Business Application partner, earning Microsoft's coveted "Global Partner of the Year" award multiple times. Before joining ePartners, he was the founder and CEO of 121 Micro, a regional consulting and business infrastructure company. Russell led 121 Micro to become Epicor's Highest Annual Revenue Partner in North America. He also served for three years on Microsoft's prestigious Customer Relationship Advisory Board.
