MAX Communications Server (MAXCS) 6.5 includes the following technology enhancements for businesses looking to deploy a complete, software-based IP-PBX:

--  Secured voice  (TLS/SRTP) support
--  Enhanced 3rd party SIP phone support for Aastra and Polycom devices
--  SNMP Support for reporting critical PBX system events
--  Global extension rerouting over the local PSTN when the WAN connection
    between remote offices is unavailable
--  Automatic AltiGen VoIP phone redirection to an alternate remote MAXCS
    server when its home server becomes unavailable
