Altitude Digital Appoints Former Groupon Executive Bradley Downes as Chief Financial Officer, Expanding Executive Team

Finance, Accounting and Treasury Expert to Guide Privately Held Video SSP Through Sustained Growth

DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Feb 2, 2015) -  Altitude Digital, a leading video supply side platform (SSP), today announced that Bradley Downes has been named the company's first Chief Financial Officer. Downes' appointment gives the company a CFO with deep firsthand experience helping technology companies scale at a rapid pace, and expands Altitude's executive leadership team as the company finishes 2014 with nearly 200 percent revenue growth.

Downes will oversee the company's finance and accounting function, ensuring that Altitude Digital maintains predictable and sustainable performance while continuing to develop its industry leading technology to provide greater efficiency and smarter inventory management and monetization for publishers.

"As Altitude Digital grows, we've focused on adding executives who have complementary skillsets to our team," said Jeremy Ostermiller, CEO at Altitude Digital. "We've built a team where everyone has been involved with high growth, high-profile tech companies, and that shared experience will help Altitude establish market leadership as we evolve. Brad has experience establishing the strategy, structure and financial foundations to successfully scale companies at an extremely rapid pace, which aligns with our trajectory at Altitude."

Downes joins Altitude Digital from Groupon, where he held several finance roles during his tenure with the company, including VP of Finance; Finance Manager - Operations; and Senior Manager - Treasury. He was one of the first 30 employees when he joined in June 2009 and played an instrumental role in Groupon's early growth. He gives Altitude Digital a diversified skillset that includes experience in finance, accounting, treasury, capital raising, and analytics.

"As the industry shifts toward programmatic video buying and selling, Altitude is helping define the segment and drive innovation and efficiency," said Downes. "The company is coming off a year of incredible triple-digit growth and I look forward to contributing to the sustainability of that growth. Altitude has really put together the pieces of great companies: an execution-focused team, a solid technology platform and a profitable business model. I'm excited to join the team."

Prior to Groupon, Downes worked in investment banking, with positions at Lazard Middle Market and Lehman Brothers. He will be based in Denver, Colorado.

Altitude Digital's ARENA Supply Side Platform provides publishers with suite of monetization tools to leverage in today's quickly evolving programmatic video marketplace.
