Altitude Organic President, Brian Cook, Comments on Gov. Jan Brewer's Actions, the Feds, and Medical Marijuana in Arizona

PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwire - May 25, 2011) - Altitude Organic Corporation (PINKSHEETS: ERBB), a leading national, publicly-traded medical marijuana company, today released important comments from the company's president, Brian Cook. Mr. Cook's comments come in light of actions taken late yesterday by Arizona Governor, Jan Brewer, who requested a delay in the implementation of the state's voter-approved medical marijuana initiative. The governor is seeking additional clarification from the federal court and the U.S. Department of Justice regarding the legality of state laws allowing medical cannabis and whether state employees who follow clear and unambiguous state laws could face federal charges as they go about implementing the state's voter-approved initiative.

President Brian Cook exclaimed, "As a pioneer in this industry, I always believed the task ahead for Altitude Organic Corporation was going to be a major undertaking because true innovation is often associated with a high degree of risk. It's time we begin to speak clearly regarding this issue. Although our medical marijuana management company does not, itself, cultivate or retail cannabis to patients, we do offer unbridled professionalism, implementation strategies, state & federal tax compliance, job creation, and national economic recovery throughout the new cannabis industry."

Brian Cook continues, "Cannabis happens to be the only drug of which I'm aware that has no overdose amounts associated with it, yet it is more illegal than cocaine. Marijuana's current legal prohibitions defy all reason. Cannabis is a schedule I narcotic and cocaine is a schedule II narcotic prescribable for medical purposes under federal law. The current classification of cannabis makes no logical (or even legal) sense."

Mr. Cook concludes, "Altitude Organic Corporation works every day to guide entrepreneurs seeking to open new Arizona businesses while they utilize the local Arizona workforce and help to create dramatic Arizona economic benefits as soon as Gov. Brewer receives clarification regarding the right of Arizona to roll out its current, sane, and well-thought-out medical marijuana program. Arizona can take the lead in this exciting undertaking by seeking to clarify the divergent and often-conflicting federal medical marijuana policies. When accomplished, Gov. Brewer and Arizona will be in a position to create a 'win-win' situation throughout the state. As a company intent on establishing the standards for medical marijuana dispensaries, Altitude Organic Corp will now use this additional time to facilitate and enhance additional affiliate relationships."
