Amadesa™ Achieves PCI DSS Compliance Certification

Onsite Testing and Relevance Targeting Leader Works to Ensure Customer Security

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - March 29, 2011) -  Amadesa (www.amadesa.com), the first company to deliver a single platform for website testing and relevancy targeting solutions to enhance conversion rate optimization and engagement activity, announced today the achievement of Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) compliance. After a thorough evaluation process, an external auditor found that Amadesa has taken sound, industry- standard measures to establish a solid set of security controls and procedures that help ensure customer safety while onsite. PCI certification adds tremendous value to Amadesa's full suite of testing and relevance targeting solutions and distinguishes it from other, potentially less secure providers.

PCI DSS compliance means Amadesa's ongoing efforts to protect customers' information and privacy have been successfully certified by the leading authority on information security. As Amadesa customers, businesses are now able to optimize data-collection areas on their sites, including checkout and registration flows, without concern regarding third-party certification or their websites' own PCI compliance status.

The PCI DSS standard is the result of a collaborative effort by the major credit card brands (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB) to build a set of requirements designed to ensure that all merchants that process, store or transmit credit card information maintain a secure online environment for their customers. The Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) was initiated in late 2006 to manage the ongoing development of these standards and help distinguish those merchants who are compliant. Six major requirements for PCI compliance include building and maintaining a secure network, protecting cardholder data, maintaining a vulnerability management program, implementing strong access control measures, regularly monitoring and testing networks, and maintaining an up-to-date information security policy.

"Amadesa has been a valued partner to myFICO, and adding PCI compliance to its feature set will help us refine our optimization strategy for continued growth," said Tyler Stoddard, director, digital marketing at myFico. "Using a testing and targeting solution with PCI compliance lets us provide a persistent, personalized experience for our customers by extending our use of Amadesa's website optimization suite to where it matters the most."

"Amadesa maintains a strong focus on innovation, usability and functionality. Part of this effort includes taking measures to ensure the best possible security, and PCI compliance is the gold standard to our customers in the financial services, e-commerce and travel industries," said Rita Brogley, Amadesa CEO. "Through improved user-authentication procedures, digital signing of files served by Amadesa, and a standardized development process, Amadesa has achieved an important distinction in the field of website optimization."
