Amanda Eliasch's "Peccadilloes" Exhibit Entices Los Angeles Art Elite to Leadapron Gallery

British Art Sensation Amanda Eliasch Stuns Art World With Nouveau Neon Works

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Jul 6, 2011) - The inimitable Amanda Eliasch is at it again with the spectacular launch of her latest exhibit, "Peccadilloes" on June 16th at the hip, new Los Angeles Gallery, Leadapron. Amanda has once again enraptured the L.A. scene with her stunning work -- awe-inspiring pieces based on the Seven Deadly Sins in the vibrant medium of neon light. Based on the illustrations of Art Patron Kay Saatchi, "Peccadilloes" has garnered much praise from a multitude of aficionados. Saatchi recently sold her contemporary art collection in one week at Christie's London, which featured drawings by Lucian Freud and Ron Mueck's sculpture, "Big Baby."

"Peccadilloes" opened with great fanfare and has been viewed by an impressive array of L.A. art connoisseurs. Showcasing the seven sins -- Lust, Pride, Wrath, Envy, Greed, Sloth and Gluttony -- Amanda Eliasch's brighter than life neon masterpieces continue to wow all who witness their wonder.

"They're the Lichtensteins of today in lights. Only Amanda Eliasch could make sinning look so good," gushed Leadapron curator/owner Jonathan Brown.

A globally respected and sought after visual artist, it is about time Angelenos got a glimpse of Amanda's unparalleled creativity and perfectly executed, entirely captivating works of art.

"Peccadilloes" remains on exhibit at the Leadapron Gallery through July 16th, 2011.

Leadapron Gallery exhibits and sells fine art, rare books and photography and is located at 8445 Melrose Place, Los Angeles, CA 90069.

In other news, Amanda is currently preparing for the debut of her play As I Like It. The play is a witty, candid, yet deeply personal memoir that weaves in and out of truth to tease and mesmerize audiences. As I Like It will run for two weeks at the Chelsea Theatre in London, from July 5 to July 14. The Chelsea Theatre is located at 7 World's End Place, London SW10 0DR, United Kingdom.
