The latest advancements in multi-threaded applications prompted AMAX to design a versatile range of HPC server solutions, optimized for the AMD Opteron 6200 Series processors, enabling scientists and researchers to process, analyze and visualize large datasets faster than ever before. The new AMAX H-Class servers deliver unprecedented performance for highly-threaded applications though massive, industry-leading core density, and an intelligent modular design featuring up to 33 percent more cores and up to 35 percent greater performance than previous generation high performance solutions. Large compute-intensive data center deployments that crave more core density to handle growing application demands can have up to 160 percent more real cores per server. The new platforms give HPC, financial and business intelligence workloads an extra shot of computational adrenaline with AMD Turbo CORE technology, digitally boosting all cores simultaneously up to 500MHz or up to 1GHz with half the cores active. Technical computing and memory-intensive environments can take advantage of the innovative Northbridge enhancements and 20 percent faster memory to reach unrivaled memory throughput of up to 70GB/s in 2P or 140GB/s in 4P server configurations. The H-class servers are customizable for each unique supercomputing application and designed to suit exact project requirements, from performance and budget, to scalability and power target.

  • AMAX HA-1402: The HA-1402 1U, four processor, standard depth server is ideal for high-performance, maximum-density compute deployments. The HA-1402 features up to 64 AMD Opteron 6200 Series processor cores, three 3.5" hot-swap SATA/SAS drive bays, and C1E power management.
  • AMAX HA-2403: The HA-2403 2U, four processor, standard depth server features up to 64 AMD Opteron 6200 Series processor cores and additional storage flexibility with onboard 6Gbps SAS/SATA ports, supporting deployments that require faster HDD/SSD cache transfers and RAID functionality.
