Social Network Launches a Dual Program for Organizations Around the Globe: 1) Amazee Camp, Providing Free Premium Service to the First 150 Organizations That Sign Up to Community Devoted to Best Practices; 2) Amazee Bucket, $10K in Sponsorships Will Be Donated to the Three Biggest Amazee Projects by January 22, 2009

SAN FRANCISCO, CA and ZURICH, SWITZERLAND--(Marketwire - October 21, 2008) - WEB 2.0 EXPO/BERLIN -- Amazee, the first social collaboration network, today announced the launch of a dual program -- dubbed "Amazee Camp" and "Amazee Bucket" -- devoted to supporting organizations to break into the online world and to develop and share best practices in social collaboration. The company -- which formally launched in September -- will provide six months of free premium service to the first 150 organizations who sign up for Amazee Camp. Amazee launched the program this morning at the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin, where it is participating in Startup Ignite. Amazee is the first online platform to combine standard social networking tools, online collaboration management tools, and the ability for project initiators to promote their projects, with sponsorships and advertising. The goal of Amazee Camp is to support organizations through the use of social media and to build a sizable community of organizations committed to developing best practices in social collaboration.

"Our objective is not only to provide the best online environment for discovering, organizing and promoting collaborative projects, but also to attract the best hearts and minds in the emerging world of social media," said Amazee CEO Gregory Gerhardt. "We hope that the 'Amazee 150' -- the first 150 organizations that sign up for the program -- can benefit from our support, but also help us to advance both the rules and tools that other organizations can use to better manage their collaborative projects."

Amazee Camp Benefits

Amazee Camp will offer member organizations with a wide range of benefits:

*Free services: the first 150 organizations from now until December 31, 2008 -- "The Amazee 150" -- will receive 6 months of free pro membership.

*Helpdesk: the Amazee 150 will get free email and instant messaging support (Skype, MSN, Yahoo, ICQ) until December 31, 2008.

*Best practices: the Amazee 150 can see weekly videocasts covering various aspects of social collaboration. Members can learn how their workgroups can use Amazee, recruit supporters, use the Web to promote and collaborate on projects and more.

"We are aiming to provide Amazee Camp members with a broad range of services and incentives," said Gerhardt. "But more important, we are aiming to provide them with an environment that enables them to learn from one another. That's the true definition of community -- and collaboration -- and we believe we can make a difference."

Amazee Bucket Benefits

From all Amazee projects, the one that has the most members by January 22, 2009, (12pm PST) will receive an Amazee sponsorship of US$5,000. The second-biggest project will receive a sponsorship of US$3,000, and the third-biggest project will receive US$2,000.
