WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - October 06, 2016) - Ambassador John Bolton announced today that the John Bolton PAC will contribute to each of the following candidates for Congress, for a collective contribution of $80,000: Steven Knight (CA-25), Darrell Issa (CA-49), Neal Dunn (FL-2), David Jolly (FL-13), Jackie Walorski (IN-2), Jim Banks (IN-3), Trey Hollingsworth (IN-9), Jack Bergman (MI-1), George Holding (NC-2), Frank LoBiondo (NJ-2), Jack Martins (NY-3), John Faso (NY-19), Tom Reed (NY-23), Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-8) and Kathy Szeliga (MD). This comes as part of a larger effort by the John Bolton PAC to ensure America elects officials to Congress who will fight for a strong national defense and put America's interests first in foreign policy.

"Recent polls have revealed that a majority of Americans believe there will be another terrorist attack on U.S. soil in the near future," said Ambassador John Bolton. "With the election just over a month away, and with so much at stake, it is imperative that we elect the very best conservative, security-minded candidates to Congress. I believe these candidates are qualified to keep America safe from terrorism and other international threats, which is why I am placing my support behind their candidacy, and my PAC will contribute to each campaign as the race enters the final stretch."

The John Bolton PAC has contributed a total of $629,500 and endorsed 87 candidates in the 2016 election cycle, making it the most active leadership PAC in the country. In addition, the Bolton SuperPAC is spending well over $3M on independent expenditure campaigns for Senator Richard Burr (NC), Dr. Joe Heck (NV), and Senator Kelly Ayotte (NH).

Ambassador Bolton on Steve Knight (CA-25)
"Steve is a military veteran who thoroughly understands that the world is safest when America is a leader on the world stage," said Ambassador John Bolton. "He has experienced first hand the necessity for strong U.S. leadership in order to maintain peace. Steve will restore our strong military and ensure effective intelligence capabilities, which is why I support him for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on Darrell Issa (CA-49)
"As a veteran of the U.S. Army, Darrell knows how to get things done," said Ambassador John Bolton. "And as a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, he has worked effectively to strengthen America's national defense and has actively fought against President Obama's erroneous Iran Nuclear Deal. We need him to continue his great work in Congress, which is why I support his re-election."

Ambassador Bolton on Neal Dunn (FL-2)
"Neal is an Army veteran who will be a strong voice for our men and women in service, and for our veterans," said Ambassador John Bolton. "He will take the fight to radical Islamic terrorism and work to put a strategy in place to wipe out ISIS and secure our nation, which is why I support his efforts for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on David Jolly (FL-13)
"David fundamentally understands that the most important role of the federal government is to protect Americans," said Ambassador John Bolton. "In Congress, David has worked to ensure our servicemen and women are equipped with the most advanced tools and technologies available in order for them to be effective. He will continue to fight to restore national security by enhancing our military operations and securing our border, which is why I support his re-election to Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on Jackie Walorski (IN-2)
"As a member of the House Armed Service Committee, Jackie has proven she's dedicated to supporting our service members as our nation faces increased threats at home and abroad," said Ambassador John Bolton. "In Congress, she has spoken out against President Obama's failed foreign policy, and we need her to remain there for the next president in order to ensure we continue the fight against ISIS and to strengthen our national security, which is why I am supporting her re-election."

Ambassador Bolton on Jim Banks (IN-3)
"As a member of the U.S. Navy Reserve, and current Chairman of the Senate Veteran Affairs and Military Committee in the Indiana State Senate, Jim has the experience and expertise needed to help lead America's national security issues during a time of increased threats abroad," said Ambassador John Bolton. "He understands the importance of working with our allies to eliminate threats and ensure our adversaries fear us, which is why I'm backing him for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on Trey Hollingsworth (IN-9)
"I know Trey will be a valuable addition to Congress and he will work to strengthen our national defense and intelligence capabilities," said Ambassador John Bolton. "We need him in Congress to be a voice of support for America's military and to take a strong stand against ISIS and our adversaries, which is why I support his candidacy for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on Jack Bergman (MI-1)
"As someone who has fought to defend our nation from terrorism, Jack knows that a strong military is needed to defeat our enemies," said Ambassador John Bolton. "I know Jack will work hard to ensure that our troops are trained and equipped to defeat ISIS and gain valuable insights that will help us against our adversaries, which is why I endorse his candidacy for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on George Holding (NC-2)
"In Congress, George has been a vocal opponent of President Obama's flawed Iran Nuclear Deal," said Ambassador John Bolton. "He knows, as I do, that the reasonable response to state-sponsored terrorism is a strong national defense. He is doing great work in Congress, which is why I support his re-election."

Ambassador Bolton on Frank LoBiondo (NJ-2)
"As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, Frank has been a strong advocate for strengthening our national security," said Ambassador John Bolton. "In Congress, he has ensured that our military has the funding and resources necessary to be effective and equipped to take on the many challenges and threats America faces at home and abroad, which is why I support his candidacy for re-election."

Ambassador Bolton on Jack Martins (NY-3)
"Jack understands, as I do, that the Iran Nuclear Deal is one of the worst foreign policy deals the United States has ever negotiated," said Ambassador John Bolton. "We need his voice in Congress, under a new president, in order to rethink and renegotiate our foreign policy to ensure our military and intelligence have the resources and support they need to make good decisions, which is why I support his candidacy for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on John Faso (NY-19)
"In Congress, John wants to rebuild our armed forces and has innovative ideas on how to make our military and national defense more effective," said Ambassador Bolton. "I know John will actively work to enforce our diplomatic presence around the globe and to assert strength in the most unstable regions, which is why I support his bid for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on Tom Reed (NY-23)
"Tom has proven in Congress to be a strong supporter of our nation's military," said Ambassador John Bolton. "He rejected President Obama's flawed Iran Nuclear Deal and has been a sharp critic of Obama's failed foreign policy. He will work to restore the strength of our national defense and continue to find solutions to challenges facing our military veterans, which is why I support his re-election to Congress."

Ambassador Bolton on Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-8)
"With over a decade of experience working in the FBI, Brian is uniquely qualified to keep our country secure," said Ambassador John Bolton. "I know he will focus his efforts on protecting American families from the threat of terrorism, and will work to develop a comprehensive strategy to defeat ISIS and build our national defense, which is why I endorse him for Congress."

Ambassador Bolton On Kathy Szeliga (MD)
"Kathy and I agree that Congress must make America's national security the top priority," said Ambassador Bolton. "She knows that the world is safest when America is a respected leader on the global stage. Unfortunately, under the Obama Administration, America's foreign policy has weakened our position in the world, while our enemies have grown in strength. I support Kathy because I know she will work to restore America's security and keep Americans safe."
