Ambir Opens New Fredericton Office and Expands Team

Seasoned IT Professionals Repatriated to Atlantic Canada

Attention: City Editor, News Editor, Tech/Telecomm Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK, MEDIA ADVISORY--(CCNMatthews - Nov. 14, 2006) - Ambir is pleased to announce the opening of a new office at 61 Carlton Street, Fredericton and the addition of key new hires, Heidi (Hallett) Morton, Brian Wilson and Trevor Titus, all of whom were originally from New Brunswick. "We are pleased to announce the opening of our new office in downtown Fredericton and excited to welcome these talented IT Professionals back home," said Ian Cavanagh, Chief Executive Officer of Ambir. "Based on Ambir's business growth over the past year, coupled with our belief that the region is well positioned to grow as global IT outsourcing continues, we feel that it was the right time to invest in the establishment of an Ambir office in Fredericton. In addition, we believe that by creating exciting and challenging opportunities for IT Professionals abroad, we can repatriate them to our region. The skills and experiences that these individuals bring back to the province are invaluable and enabling Ambir to further strengthen our value proposition with existing clients and to attract new business to our region."

Quality of life, cost of living and family and friends are all key reasons why Heidi, Brian and Trevor decided to return home. But finding suitable employment was also a critical decision factor in returning to New Brunswick.

For the past 9 years, Heidi Morton was based in Calgary, Alberta and was most recently employed by a major energy company as an ERP Team Lead/Business Analyst. "I am thrilled to be home closer to family and friends", commented Heidi, "but I am equally thrilled to have found a great team in Ambir. My career was as important as to me the other factors when my family and I considered moving back home. Now that I am settled in Fredericton and engaged with Ambir, I feel that this was a great personal and professional move for me."

Brian Wilson lived in Seattle, Washington for the past 7 years where he worked as a Professional Services Consultant, Project Manager and Trainer with leading CRM Software and Consulting firms. "After being away from New Brunswick for a total of 12 years, it was time for me and my family to consider moving back home but I was concerned about finding a suitable opportunity that would both challenge me and allow me to leverage my experience in the CRM industry." said Brian. "Ambir's positioning, strategy and vision resonated with me and demonstrated that there were people in the region committed to growing IT opportunities within and for the region. I am very excited to have joined the Ambir team in the new Fredericton office."

Trevor Titus, based in Ottawa for the past 8 years, has joined Ambir and will be relocating back to New Brunswick early in December. During his tenure in the IT industry, Trevor has held a variety of positions including Functional Analyst, QA Test Analyst, Team Lead and Project Manager. Most recently Trevor was a Senior QA Specialist at a leading global security software company. "I was fortunate to receive offers from several companies within Atlantic Canada when I considered returning to the Maritimes", said Trevor, "but I was most interested in Ambir based on the reputation of the team and what they stand for as a company. Ambir has created a compelling company culture and I am very excited to join a team of world class IT Professionals."
