The Ambit Group Celebrates 9th Anniversary With Leadership Restructure, Employee Promotions

Company Relocates Office to Accommodate Business Growth

RESTON, VA--(Marketwire - Feb 7, 2013) - The Ambit Group (Ambit) is celebrating its nine year anniversary by announcing a leadership restructure and 12 employee promotions. John Condon, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO), will serve as Chairman of the Board, and Kim Hayes, former President, will take over the role of CEO. Additionally, the company will be relocating its Reston, Virginia-based office to a larger facility to accommodate the growth of its employee base and significant business expansion.

"Over the past nine years our business has evolved and grown to a point where we are ready for the next stage of our corporate history," said Condon. "Our employee growth and promotions coupled with our office relocation will better position us for future success. We feel these changes will enhance our customer service and delivery function while enabling the firm to remain lean and agile."

Beginning in February, Condon will take over the full-time role of Chairman of the Board to provide oversight and governance to the company's internal business as well as outreach and liaison duties externally. As CEO, Hayes will continue to manage the day-to-day responsibilities of running the business, including managing the company's executive team. Lou Kerestesy, former Chief Operating Officer, succeeds Hayes as company President. Additional leadership promotions include:

  • Bob Nunnally - Chief Operations Officer
  • Steve Wood - Senior Vice-President, Operations and Management
  • Doug Berry - Vice-President for Technology Solutions
  • Maurice (Mo) Stewart - Vice-President for Client Solutions
  • Don Weber - Managing Director for Quality and Management
  • Bryan Bearden - Associate Vice-President
  • Brenda Blackman - Associate Vice-President
  • Ashequl Hoque - Vice-President, Legal and Administration
  • Brian Baker - Associate Vice-President, Business Development
  • Evangeline Weber - Art Director
  • Andrew Carr - Director of Business Development

"The success of our business relies largely upon the hard work and determination set forth by our employees on a daily basis," said Hayes. "Our employees are the backbone of this company -- without each of their own unique strengths our company wouldn't be what it is today."

As of February, Ambit's headquarters will be relocating to 1902 Campus Commons Drive, Suite 300, in Reston, Virginia. The new, larger space -- which includes a dedicated training facility -- will better accommodate the current size and future growth plans of the company.

"I am as excited today as I was back in February 2004 when Kim Hayes and I launched The Ambit Group," said Condon. "Most of all, however, I am privileged to be associated with the finest team of employees in the market."
