Amble With Angus for the Calgary Food Bank

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 15, 2010) - Amble with Angus, an annual fun run in support of the Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk Program, returns for the 9th year. This year there are two parts to the Amble:

PART 1  
WHEN: Thursday December 16th at 7:15am
WHAT: Angus Cowan, a Partner at Ideaca Knowledge Services and avid runner, will run for
  25 uninterrupted hours to encourage donations and awareness.
WHERE: The Arches in Eau Claire
PART 2  
WHEN: Friday December 17th at 7:30am
WHAT: Angus will finish the final hour of his 25 hours by joining hundreds of other runners
  and walkers for the annual 5 km Amble with Angus.
WHERE: The Arches in Eau Claire

Angus will circuit a 5 km course beginning at the arches in Eau Claire Market.

All funds raised through Amble with Angus support the Food Bank's Children's Milk Program which provides low-income families with milk and formula using the Food Bank's refrigerated Moo Juice Van. Last year 63,422 litres of milk and 2,607 containers of infant formula were delivered to more than 1,800 homes in Calgary. This year Angus hopes to raise $25,000.
