Amble with Angus for the Calgary Food Bank

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2011) - On Friday December 17, 2010, Angus Cowan ran for 25 straight hours raising over $25,000 to recognize the 25^th Anniversary of the CBC Suncor Energy Food Bank Drive. Amble with Angus is a fun run that benefits the Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk Program. Angus's inspirational journey this past December was documented by Ray MacDonald in "25, the documentary". The Calgary Food Bank's Children's Milk Program delivers milk and formula to low-income households with children, using our refrigerated Moo Juice Van. Last year 63,422 litres of milk and 2,607 containers of infant formula were delivered to more than 1,800 homes in Calgary.
