Ambrilia Files Preliminary Short Form Prospectus for Proposed Offering of Common Shares

Ambrilia Biopharma Inc. (TSX:AMB) announced today that it has filed a preliminary short form prospectus with securities regulatory authorities in British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec in connection with a proposed offering of common shares of the Company. Canaccord Capital Corporation is the lead manager for the offering. The syndicate also includes Dundee Securities Corporation and Loewen, Ondaatje, McCutcheon Limited.

The pricing of the offering will be determined based on market conditions at the time of filing of the final short form prospectus. The Company expects that the offering will raise approximately $15 million, and closing of the offering is subject to certain conditions including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary approvals including the approval of the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Ambrilia intends to use the net proceeds of the offering towards the ongoing Phase 3 clinical trials of its improved formulation of Octreotide, the development of its new formulation of Goserelin and the further lead optimization of its novel series of HIV integrase inhibitors. The Company will also use net proceeds of the offering for its other anti-viral development activities and for working capital and general corporate purposes.
