AMC Health VA Contract Clarification

Media Advisory

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Sep 20, 2013) - On September 4, 2013, AMC Health sent a press release announcing a U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) telehealth contract that inadvertently created some confusion about the nature of the contract. The VA has awarded a five-year Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract that will enable AMC Health to secure opportunities to provide telehealth solutions and services throughout the VA health system worth up to $28.8 million.

AMC Health offers end-to-end remote patient monitoring solutions that enhance care coordination, improve outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Our device-agnostic, integrated and scalable telehealth programs leverage the most advanced remote monitoring technology, interactive voice response (IVR), an FDA-cleared web portal that supports care coordination, and care managers who can educate and coach patients and coordinate needed clinical services. AMC Health's telehealth platform also provides real-time data analysis for early detection and automatically alerts case managers so they can intervene.

Given the complex healthcare setting, AMC Health works with its clients to identify and develop customized solutions to support targeted populations and achieve specific outcomes such as reducing readmissions and emergency department visits.
