- Made significant progress on 25x20 energy efficiency initiative: The energy-efficiency measurements from our new 6th Generation AMD A-Series processors achieve a 2.4x efficiency increase which is well above the 1.7x pace necessary for the 25x20 Energy-Efficiency goal!
- Exceeded 5-year environmental goals for air, water and waste: At non-manufacturing sites, greenhouse gas emissions declined 24 percent (compared to a 5 percent goal), water use per employee declined 55 percent (compared to a 20 percent goal), and waste diverted from landfills reached 74 percent worldwide (compared to a 70 percent goal).
