AMELIA ISLAND, FL--(Marketwire - Apr 11, 2011) - The Amelia Island Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has partnered with Harris Teeter Supermarkets again to offer exclusive savings for the grocery chain's VIC (Very Important Customer) cardholders. Available April 1 through December 31, 2011*, Harris Teeter VIC cardholders will receive discounts at 22 Amelia Island businesses, including accommodations, restaurants, activities and shopping.

"These special discounts are a great way to provide added value to Harris Teeter customers as they experience some of Amelia's most popular attractions," said Gil Langley, President and CEO of the Amelia Island CVB.

The Amelia Island and Harris Teeter partnership began in January 2010. Each year the partnership has offered a three-month-long, travel sweepstakes that ended with one lucky Harris Teeter e-VIC subscriber winning a trip to Amelia Island, followed by special deals for Harris Teeter VIC cardholders.

The discounted deals are available only to customers who present their VIC card at checkout.
