AmeraMex International Secures $5.5 Million Order From Worldwide Transportation and Logistics Service Provider

CHICO, CA--(Marketwire - August 23, 2007) - AmeraMex International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: AMMX), a provider of heavy equipment to stevedoring, construction, logging and mining companies, announced today that it has secured a $5.5 million order for loaded container handlers from a large worldwide container transportation and logistics service provider with worldwide locations, including the Middle East, Europe, Africa, Australia and North and South America. AmeraMex anticipates shipment of the container handlers, which are EPA Tier III compliant, during the first quarter of 2008.

"We have been an AmeraMex (Hamre Equipment) customer for approximately five years and are currently operating over 300 Taylor Machine Works machines, including their innovative container handlers," commented Ken Pope, Southern California Area Manager for Marine Terminals Inc. "AmeraMex, an outstanding distributor for Taylor Machine Works, will be delivering our new container handlers in Spring of 2008. The new Taylor handlers are unique in their ability to stack loaded containers up to six high, which will save significant dock space and improve our efficiency within the port."

"There is considerable growth within the stevedoring industry and we expect our order flow to continue, with the requirement for additional equipment to efficiently handle the increase of imported of goods into the U.S. and the need for stevedoring equipment to meet mandatory EPA Tier III compliance," commented AmeraMex CEO and President Lee Hamre. "We are very enthusiastic about our prospects for the remainder of the year and look forward to meeting our revenue and earning projections for 2007," added Hamre.

AmeraMex recently reported revenue of approximately $6.9 million for the first six months of 2007, and in July reported additional equipment orders of $9.4 million for delivery by the end of the year.

Container handlers are used for the loading and unloading of containerized goods onto and off of ships. AmeraMex supplies ergonomically designed loaded container handlers with minimum effort pilot controls and decreased noise level. The handlers provide the stevedores with heavy load handling and a rugged, high-strength, all-weld chassis and frame. Each handler arrives with full support data and a 12-month or 2,000 hours warranty.
