Amergence Group Subsidiary, Altitude Organic Licensing Corporation, Announces Planned Move Into Arizona After Passage of Prop 203 -- Legalization of Medical Marijuana

PHOENIX, AZ and DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - November 16, 2010) -  The Amergence Group (PINKSHEETS: AMNG), a company that focuses on developing, nurturing, and rapidly expanding selected emerging or disruptive companies across a wide range of industries and disciplines, announced today that its subsidiary, Altitude Organic Licensing Corporation (AO), plans to immediately target expansion into Arizona.  Eleven days after the midterm election and after all of the absentee ballots were counted, Arizona's medical marijuana measure, known as Prop 203, has officially passed by a margin of over 4,300 votes.

The Amergence Group's Phoenix headquarters and significant the company's local relationships make expanding the Altitude Organic Medicine dispensary chain an ideal opportunity in Arizona. Altitude Organic™ is now prepared to move forward with its planned new facilities in Phoenix so it can support the effort to provide therapeutic cannabis for qualified medical patients in need. Altitude Organic Licensing Corporation plans to execute its turn-key licensing expansion system in Arizona, which has been successfully developed in Colorado and California thus far. The company's proprietary licensing system is the first of its kind in the medical marijuana industry and is designed to navigate the variances in regulations from state to state.

AO President Brian Cook added, "We are very excited the late vote count went in our favor! Arizona will become the second state -- Colorado being the first -- to provide a rational set of rules for acquiring state licenses for approved dispensaries. The Arizona process should look a lot like the Colorado process, where we were able to open four medical marijuana centers currently in business. Arizona is limiting state licenses issued to 120, so we will be moving fast, deploying through local contacts while we seek approval for up to 3 stores."

Arizona will also provide an excellent platform for the launching of the National Medical Marijuana Association "I'm a Patient" TV commercial campaign. The TV commercial was very beneficial in Colorado presenting the industry in a palliative manner to voters of all walks of life and view point.
