Attention: Arts/Entertainment Editor, Assignment Editor, City Editor, Education Editor, Lifestyle Editor EDMONTON, AB--(Marketwire - April 3, 2009) - EDEO is pleased to bring America The Beautiful to St. John's April 11, 2009 at 5PM andPM at the St. John's Arts and Culture Centre. This movie should be seen by every mother, daughter, sister, friend, and by the men in their lives who love them. Director Darryl Roberts will be in attendance and he will do a Q & A following each screening.

America The Beautiful is a socially probing documentary which explorers the question, "Does America have an unhealthy obsession with beauty?" Filmmaker Darryl Roberts journeys into the psyche of celebrities like Paris Hilton and Jessica Simpson, athletes like Reggie Theus, industry professionals such as Jill Ishkanian from "US Weekly", Ted Casablanca from the "E! Channel" and the American citizenry to determine the roots of this superficial obsession.

By juxtaposing his personal obsessions with beauty with those of people like Martin Short, Michael Beach, Mena Suvari, Anthony Diedis, Tisha Cambell and Aisha Tyler, Roberts illustrates that, to varying degrees, we all fall victim to this superficial social phenomenon.
